UPDATE, UPDATE, UPDATE

Hello my pretties!:D

So, I have been dealing with quite a sh#$ storm lately in my personal life which means I've had no time to update or work on my books. The good news is that before the storm I was able to finish two stories! One is shorter and based on my Daughters of Justice coven, cuz they wanted some sweet loving too and you should never piss off witches.( Just a little tip there for you) In any case the book is called The Fire in Your Touch and its right now on my editor's desk getting slashed with red pen. LOL! Hopefully not too much though. Grammar is a female dog sometimes. So it will be book 3.5 in the Rivercast Immortals series. Book 4, The Night Warrior's: The Warriors Obsession  has a finished first draft  and is awaiting it's turn at my editors desk. In the meantime I am trying to get back to the 5th book, which has a title but I am not yet 100% sure of it yet.  I can tell you that Obsession is as you could probably guess if you have been following the story,  Jay, the Norse womanizer's book. I had a lot of fun writing it and I am sure I will have to spend many more hours and days with it once it comes back from the editor's. In the meantime, I am working on my Zen warrior Thaddeus' book. I'm enjoying learning about ninjas and samurai; not that the book is about ninjas but as a writer I like to know my character's back story and base it somewhat on reality, well at least a little.:P

I truly hope that my stories can take your mind off to a more fun, enjoyable place and that like me you get to laugh, sigh and cry along with the story.

The Night Warrior's: The Warrior's Choice. Yay!

:D{Doing happy dance}

Hi there everyone!

The second book in the Rivercast Immortals series is in, freshly baked. It was a labor of love and I greatly enjoyed writing it. I hope you guys check it out, it's only $1.99 and it's available from Smashwords.com. Soon it will go out to other outlets like Apple iBooks, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Kobo and Diesel. it will also be available later on from Amazon but I need to change the formatting of the book so it might take a long time until it's available at Amazon.

Ok so the book gives us a glance into Fae society, and makes us fall in love with a gorgeous, charming young vampire called Winston aka London. Here is the book's blurb:

With zombies infecting both humans and Lore in the city of Rivercast it is imperative for the Night Warriors to extend their new Lore alliance to the Fae; they alone have the knowledge to create a viable antivenin. London has a clear mission: Get antivenin, get alliance. The only problem will be Linda, a Warrior's widow, the forbidden fruit, and the Fae Queen's own banished daughter.

Feeling pretty good but kind of tired. The first paper edit is finish so now I have to apply all the changes. Not the most fun in the world but very neccesary. So far the novel will be titled The Night Warriors: The Warrior's Charm. It will be the second book in the Rivercast Immortals series.  As the first one this will also be an e-book published through Smashwords.com.  Once I have the book in the premiun catalog I'll let everyone know how to get it.  The first ebook is now available through smashwords, barnes and noble, kobo, apple, diesel, page foundry, sony, flipkart, and some others I can't recall.  Now I must go back to work on the editing. Talk to you guys soon!

Still Alive!

:D

Hello friends!

Sorry I have been absent for awhile. I am still working on the second installment of the
Rivercast Immortals Series about my YUMMY Night Warriors. I finally finished the rough outline
all the way to the end so now I just need to flesh it out an sit my butt down in front of the computer
and write instead of playing Big Fish Games.  London, my sweet Warrior just got Vampnap!
Can he save himself or will the need help from his lady? All I know is that there are fairies and mermaids
involved  so anything is possible. After I actually finish the first draft then its editing madness galore.
I usually have my nerd but hunky hubby do the second editing after I go through the manuscript at
least three times. Then off it goes to my mother the Romance novel enthusiast ( she has read over 3,000
romace novels) She tells me if it sucks big time or if I need to change things that are not clear.
Then I do my changes and I go through it a couple more times before I send it out to a couple of people
to get imput. Last minute editing goes on and then to format the document so it follows the publishing
format for Smashwords, which is the company I use to sell  and distribute my ebooks.
Hopefully I want to be done before the end of the year! My goal is to have a novel out each year
until I finish the series. I might have to make some novellas in order to do this but we shall see
how everything works out.  Peace!
                                       Live, Love, Laugh,

Up to Chapter 20

Hi there folks!:P

I just wanted to update a little bit here. I have read on multiple occasions authors saying that the second book in a series is the hardest one to write and I would have to concur. London is the sweetest most adorable of the Night Warriors but he is kicking my butt from here to Timbuktu. I am finally happy with the heroine I chose for him and he is very happy indeed, can't wait to get his little eager hands all over her...or is it the other way around? Guess we'll have to wait and see.  Research has been fun because I love the fairies and their world but as with every world making endeavor it is hard work and it gets confusing. Yes remember I said were going on to fay land in this book? Well that is still my plan unless the story takes a turn in my head, which is possible but at this stage I wish it doesn't happen. OK so I should try to work more on the writing but my autistic son is not really very fond of seeing me in front of the computer so it gets tricky. All my best wishes to all of you out there and always remember to

LIVE,LOVE, LAUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calix says hi!

Up to Chapter 9!

:P Hello!!!

Just wanted to keep everyone up to date on the second book of the Rivercast Immortals. I am working on book two and after changing the heroine like three times I think I have a winner and with a prize like sweet London it is a win indeed. Still doing research and creating my Fae society before I get to write about it. Maybe once I start writing everything will change again but we'll see.   I want to get into our villain's brain a little bit in this book and kind of meet the bad guys as it will, some of them anyway. As the story is progressing more characters are appearing that I did not take into account but hey if they want to be in the first draft I'll let them and who knows perhaps they'll persuade me to leave them in the story at editing time.

In a completely different topic I want to edit some more of my short stories to put here for free. Some of them need a little work while some really do need a lot but they are dear to me in any case. Also I might put a page for my poems, I haven't made a poem in a very long time but  I did once upon a time and it may be nice to share them either here or in my Fiction press page.

Thank you again to those of you who have bought my book, I send you a big squeeze and hope you have a wonderful Holiday Season!

Working the first draft

:DHello!

A little update on what is happening with The Rivercast Immortals series. Currently working on the first draft of the second book( which turns out to be more like a third draft because I have changed my mind so freaking much). So far the name is The Night Warriors: The Warrior's Charm and it delves into the culture of the fairies. This is Winston aka London's story ( the cute charming one...hence the title).  So there has been a lot of fairy research and thinking of how my fairies will differ or be similar to others. So far I am leaning towards the Irish/Scottish folklore but I like to mix and match and make up stuff on my own as well. If you have already purchased my first book The Night Warriors:The Warrior's Sin, I love you!!! Thank you so much and I hope you absolutely enjoy it. If you don't have it yet there is a link on the home page and you can find it at smashwords.com.  Also it is available now at Barnes and Nobles.com, the Sony store, Kobo, itunes and hopefully soon on Kindle and Amazon. Take care guys!
